AbuMakkah have now gone and done it. A flawless run to the Playoff, taking down three of the strongest FC24 players in the Resurrection Stage upper brackets at the Esports Sports World Cup in front of the home crowd. He will now be competing for the $1 million prize pool in the Playoffs.

In what was one of the most intense game at the Resurrection Stage, AbuMakkah managed to keep his cool and did not lose his nerves even after his opponent started with a lead on him. Manu Bachoore, who also had a flawless run to the upper bracket finals, started with a lead.

However, with the fan support on his back as always, he managed to quickly overcome his opponent and turned tables on him for the time being. With the game holding an importance for both players, Manu Bachoore was also not ready to take the L so quickly and fought till the end.

With both players stuck on equal score after 90 minutest, the match went into overtime where AbuMakkah got a lead on his opponent. Despite multiple attempts from Manu Bachoore, AbuMakkah was able to defend till the last second and managed to secure Playoffs. He was later seen celebrating with his fans at the event.

Bonanno makes it to the lower bracket final

The lower bracket semis saw Bonanno clash with Web Nasri and manage to survive the onslaught after taking down his opponent in a close 5-4 victory. Web Nasri returns home while Bonanno will move forward to the finals in a one last attempt to secure Playoffs.

However, his last fight won’t be easy as he will be facing Manu Bachoore from the upper bracket finals, who just lost a close game and is not looking to have mercy on his opponents. Manu Bachoore previously defeated Bonanno, and it remains to be seen if this will be a payback or a trip home for Bonanno.
