Jafonso moves on to the FC24 Grand Finals
What happens when two unstoppable forces clashes, while Jafonso and PHzin gave the fans a dominating performance in the quarterfinals, their clash in the semis was by far one of the most intense games in the ongoing FC24 Esports World Cup with none of the players ready to give up.
The entire match was like a cat and mouse chase, with one gaining the lead and the other following shortly behind. As the game went on for longer, the more intense the rivalry between Jafonso and PHzin increased with no end in sight.
Jafonso secures Grand Final with a comeback
From being almost eliminated to an insane recovery that left everyone in a shock, Jafonso has been a menace for everyone at the tournament. Since the beginning, the players have been the dominating force and now there is only one game remaining to secure the championship trophy.
As the match reached endgame, PHzin was holding on to the lead, but Jafonso managed to equalize the score right before the match ended, leading the game into an intense overtime. PHzin, however, wasn’t ready to give up as he managed to gain back the lead, leaving Jafonso in another tight situation.

Jafonso, keeping his cool once again, managed to chase the score and give himself a few more minutes. As the match went deeper into overtime, both players were looking to close the game. This time around, with, Jafonso refused to remain the chaser and secured the lead.
With just a minute remaining on the clock, it was impossible for PHzin to recover, and the last minute goal paved the way for Jafonso in the Grand Finals. He now awaits his challenger from the conclusion of the semifinal match between AbuMakkah and Young.
