PUBG Esports World Cup (Image - ESWC)
The final day for PUBG Esports World Cup starts with a bang in the opening match with 13 players eliminated in a blink of an eye. Many would think that this was a classic hot drop situation with multiple teams landing in a single place, but no, this came after all teams were 18 minutes in and the game about to reach Phase 5.
Multiple teams were trying to make it into the zone, unfortunately, most of them choose a relatively close drive by resulting in top team like Soniqs, TSM, Gaimin Gladiators, Tianba and others engage with each other across a small area. What unfolded was possibly the first time fans witnessed multiple third party encounter in PUBG.
TSM engaged Tianba along with All Gamers Global and Soniqs taking on Gaimin Gladiators. In a span of five seconds, the entire kill feed was covering the screen. When the dust settled, 13 players were out of the game, with multiple teams out of the race.

Daytrade Gaming take home the opening game
While a bit late to the party, Daytrade Gaming also managed to pick up a few stragglers. The team also went on to take home the same match with 13 finishes to their name. Half of the finisher points were picked up by Daytrade Gaming during the last four team remaining after taking down Soniqs and BetBoom Team.
The final showdown saw BetBoom Team with a huge disadvantage. Compared to Daytrade Gaming, they had one less players with no utilities while their opponents were rocking a full squad with multiple smokes, flashes and grenade. While keeping the game intense, BetBoom could not secure the game.
Although, the team did secure 16 finishes and second spot, combined with Daytrade Gaming, these two teams had more finisher points than the remaining 14 teams. This also tells us how much map control these team had.
