Following back to back upsets and what looked like a downfall, Buriram United Esports have managed to bank in a huge Booyah victory at the group stage on Day 2 of Free Fire Esports World Cup. The team has also become the second team to secure three Booyahs after RRQ.

The final game of the day saw a stand-off between the three of the most beloved teams, Twisted Minds, LOUD and Buriram United Esports. In a duel between LOUD and Twisted Minds, the latter came out victorious and faced Buriram United.

As the fight went on, Buriram United took down LOUD one by one and managed to win the game without losing a single match. The whole game felt like Buriram United responding to all the doubts from fans after they failed to perform back to back.

While the win could not take them back to the top, it will certainly make sure that they reach the grand finals alongside LOUD, RRQ and most likely, Twisted Minds. The opening day for Group C did not see any team reaching triple digits, however, they do have one more day to make everything count.

Group B ends their run at Free Fire group stages

With Buriram United Esports securing the final match for Group Stage Day 2, Group B has concluded all 12 of their matches. Moving forward, Group C will clash with Group A with the remaining teams fighting to secure a spot in the top 12.

Points Rush is a unique take by Garena where teams play bonus matches. These matches give a glimpse of what may happen in the grand finals, while also allowing teams to secure a few more points that may come in handy.
