Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 reveals some sweet weapons and armours

Saber Interactive has now released a new video showcasing extended gameplay for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The trailer reveals different aspects of the game and how it caters to players with different preferences. The overview contains three sections, Campaign, Co-Op and Multiplayer PvP.

Space Marine 2 Campaign

The story is set 100 years after the events of the first Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine game. This time players will be fighting Tyranid invasion as Captain Titus who has been demoted to lieutenant rank. Players will return to base after every mission change their load out and select where they want to drop next.

The game is bringing some of the most iconic weapons from the Warhammer 40k franchise. Bolt Rifle, Chain Sword, Melter Rifle and Thunder Hammer are some of the few showcases in the overview with more to come. The story mode also features seamless co-op, where two of your friends can take the place of Chairon or Gadriel and complete the mission.

Co-Op in Space Marine 2 (Operations)

Along with the three-player co-op campaign, there are also operations which are the true essence of co-op activities. Players can choose roles and have six different classes to choose from. These include Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper, Heavy. Different perks ca

Players will also be able to customize their armour and unlock more by completing the missions. Along with that, there will also be XP and armoury data rewards that can be used to unlock class perks for making stronger builds.

PvP (Eternal War)

The PvP mode is called Eternal War and features 6v6 matches against other players, one team will be the Chaos Marines while the other will be Ultra Marines. This mode will also provide all the progression from co-op mode and isn’t necessary to play. Currently, three game modes have been revealed, there are Deathmatch, Capture & Control and Seize Ground.
