As Valorant Champions dawns closer and closer, six teams from America, are set to face one last chance where only three will triumph and secure the last three spots for the grand event. The VCT Americas Stage 2 has now reached the Playoffs and will conclude the Champions Tour of 2024.

The Playoffs will start on July 18 (IST) and with its conclusion, fans will have the final three teams joining the Valorant Champions next month in Seoul, South Korea. But before that, the six teams from the Americas region will lock horns. G2 Esports and Leviatán have already got a head start, qualifying directly to the upper bracket semifinals.

This leaves four others in a tough situation in the Knockout Round, as two of the teams will be playing their first and last games of VCT Americas Stage 2 Playoffs. The winner will be moving forward and will face G2 Esports and Leviatán for a spot in the upper bracket finals.

Here are the teams in the Knockout Round

  • KRÜ Esports Vs Cloud9

KRÜ Esports is one of the fan-favourite teams that had a decent performance across the VCT. While the team saw a few losses against the likes of Sentinels and G2 Esports, they managed to pull out a decent standing. On the other hand, Cloud9 has espo been struggling a little with multiple close matches and even saw defeat against their group stage match-up with KRÜ Esports.

  • Sentinels Vs 100 Thieves

This one is a classic NA Vs NA fight and was a result of G2 Esports taking down Sentinels in the final game of the Group Stage, where G2 displayed their dominance after stealing away the upper bracket semifinal spot. On the other hand, 100 Thieves have had a not-so-good run, dropping multiple matches, leading to a loss of confidence among its fans for their game against Sentinels.

Matches starting the upper bracket semifinals will be played in a double elimination bracket, so all teams will need to give their best, Furthermore, Leviatán have already made their way into the Valorant Champions through the Americas Points.
