With the start of Valorant Episode 9, data miners have now discovered a new Bot Match game mode, which can be announced in the future. By the looks of it, this mode will allow players to compete against bots in a full match to get to know the maps better.

As per Valorant Leaks on X, the recent Ep9 update also came with an interesting line of code saying “Bot Match” leading everyone to believe there is finally a bot matchmaking coming to the game. The game currently features a lot of innovative game modes, but the original Vs bot mode was still nowhere in sight till now.

Of course, this can be entirely something else or a different concept from what people think, as no official word from the developers and Riot Games has been released on the matter. Valorant is known for some gimmicky modes like Escalation and Spike Rush.

The new battle pass for Episode 9 also features two new calling cards that players can acquire, which further leads everyone to believe this rumour. Do note that it is very unlikely that this mode if released, will help players improve their aim in any way and will likely act out as a way to familiarize yourself with the map.

Players make fun of potential upcoming Bot Mode

While this will be the first time Valorant will see a bot mode, the feature has been available across several other popular games like Call of Duty and Counter-Strike and isn’t a huge deal for players. However, that did not stop them from making fun of the situation.

One person said, “I've had early access to this for a while now,” while another said, “Like my lobby isn't already full of bots”. Bots here refer to players with bad aim or those who do not listen to callouts in a solo queue match.
