Patch 9.09 for Valorant was a small update providing fixes to agents, maps, and other things. There were no nerfs and buffs, which did not sit well with the community. Neon, the speedster of Valorant, previously received buff is now too much to handle and players are asking for changes. Thankfully, Valorant devs are here to save the day.
Responding to the community, a Valorant game designer going by the name of penguin VALORANT on X revealed that everyone at Riot Games agrees that Neo is too strong. As such, to balance out the character, some nerfs are incoming in patch 9.11.
“For what it's worth - we agree that Neon is too strong as well. We're working on some adjustments to balance out the parts that feel overpowered while maintaining her grounded movement combat fantasy. These changes are coming in patch 9.11,” the official post read.

Why do players want a Nerf to Neon?
Neon saw buffs back in Valorant patch 8.11 in June, increasing her slide aim accuracy. Players quickly found out that she had 100% accuracy while in mid-air, which was reverted soon. However, the slide accuracy remained and players are now complaining that it is also too much and a nerf is required.
However, the lack of any changes till patch 9.09 had the community in arms, prompting a response from the developer. It is a bit hard to see what will be changed, considering the devs want to ‘maintain her grounded movement combat’.
A simile solution people are asking for is a nerf to slide accuracy, as for her abilities, players do not seem to have any trouble with them. Alongside Neon, Deadlock, and Harbor may also see some meaningful buffs as requested by another player. Both Deadlock and Harbor have remained underwhelming since their launch, but this might change soon.
Valorant always catering when pros cry but not buffing deadlock or harbor who actually need attention
