The most recent rumours and leaks suggest that Ubisoft may have ambitious hopes for the Nintendo Switch 2. Although Nintendo has not yet made the formal announcement of the Switch 2, it is likely that the device will release shortly. And if the Switch 2 is like previous Nintendo systems, a lot of Ubisoft games will probably be available on it. For many years, Ubisoft has demonstrated strong support for Nintendo systems.

Ubisoft has previously worked with Nintendo on games and published a few time-limited exclusives for Nintendo systems. It appears that Ubisoft will continue to support Nintendo with the Switch 2 when the new system is eventually made available to the general public. Ubisoft also has big ambitions for the Switch 2, according to leaker Nate the Hate.

Ubisoft reportedly intends to release Assassin's Creed Mirage during the Switch 2's launch window, which would mean it will be available on the device before the end of the year. Additionally, it has been reported that Assassin's Creed Shadows will also be available on the Switch 2, but not during the new console's debut timeframe.

According to a different leak from the previous year, Ubisoft intends to release several Assassin's Creed games on the Switch 2. The earlier leak included references to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins, as well as Mirage and Shadows.

Ubisoft's plans for the Switch 2 are accurate

Notably, the Switch 2 will have access to a vast selection of Ubisoft-published games from the start because it is backward compatible. One example of this would be Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Fans of the AC franchise who like to take the experiences with them on the road may find the portable to be a fantastic alternative if the speculations regarding Ubisoft's plans for the Switch 2 are accurate.

If the reports regarding Ubisoft's anticipated support for the Switch 2 prove to be accurate, it wouldn't be shocking in the slightest. Since Ubisoft actively promoted the Wii U as well, as some may remember, and since the Switch 2 is almost certain to be a huge success, it makes perfect sense for most companies to begin developing games for the system.
