While the official announcement and feature reveal are yet to come, another rumour has claimed that the new Joy-Cons on Switch 2 will be magnetic and feature a more powerful dock. The controller sticks will also be slightly bigger and feature hall effect joysticks, which eliminates Stick Drift.

This comes from a Reddit post made by a person claiming they were able to get a look and hold the final design for Switch 2. While many would call the post a fake without any evidence, the moderator confirmed the user shared evidence in private and the claim is real as far as they can see.

All over, the big complaint was that fans wanted a much more durable Joy-Cons, considering the handheld is made for gaming. Stick Drifts are common across regular controllers and are one of the most annoying aspects that can create a lot of frustration while gaming as players are not able to properly perform actions inside a game.
