Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a game that will reportedly decide the fate of Ubisoft, is just a month away from release. The company is reportedly very confident in the release date this time which further indicates their confidence in the game likely from various playtesting what the company has been conducting, resulting in positive reactions.

This confidence was shared by multiple developers who are currently working on the game. Talking to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, all the developers expressed confidence in the game, meaning no further dealy like the first, or the second time.

One can argue that the delays were necessary else Ubisoft would risk releasing a potentially broken game which would further push the company down the drain. The second delay was also surprising but showed everyone that they were serious.

Multiple factors adding to Ubisoft’s confidence in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The developments aren’t the only ones showing confidence in their work as recently, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot also revealed that pre-orders are looking healthy and in line with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The report revealed the game reached around 300,000 pre-orders. If that’s the case, Ubisoft should be fine on release.

Assassin’s Creed franchise has always been the best seller for Ubisoft, reaching tens of million copies in sales. However, the last few games saw a lot of complaints about the company simply adding unnecessary things to bloat the gameplay hours of these games, something they promised would not be the case in the upcoming game.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows to respect player’s time?

The main goal of the game is to provide an immersive gaming experience as possible. This means a lot fewer fetch quests. Players also have two protagonists, one is your regular stealthy Shinobi, while the other is a giant tank for those who like to make loud entries. As per reports, the game is also ditching the single-player Battle Pass.
