One of the biggest Warhammer fanboys, Henry Cavill, seems to be impressed by the Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 video game. In a recent Instagram post, Cavill praised the main story Campaign and the PvP saying that he wasn’t able to complete the game on highest difficulty but loved the story and wants the game to grow more.

“I couldn't complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn't have the patience to complete it by myself!) which I love! Loving the PvP and am really looking forward to it growing and expanding - It has real potential to be absolutely awesome!” Cavill wrote.

Space Marine 2’s opens up opportunity for expansions or new game

As Cavill said, the game is great and the entire gaming community agrees. This has opened up an opportunity for the developers to delve more into the franchise. In a recent interview with IGN, Chief Creative Officer of Saber Interactive, Tim Willits said that the success of the game have a very positive effect on its future.

With over 2 million players on launch, Willits revealed that the team can now continue delivering the post-launch content while also making adjustments as required. The success of the game have also given the possibility of story DLC, with director Dmitry Grigorenko already sharing ideas that can be DLC or a sequel.

“We're literally just catching our breath. This is two weeks out. We just need to get the dust to settle. But I can confidently say that we will not disappoint our Warhammer fans in the future. It's too big of a success! I know that's an obvious thing to say, but hopefully we'll be working on Space Marine content for a long time,” Willits added.
