Team Spirit have continued their unstoppable run in the grand finals with a 3-1 victory over Natus Vincere (NaVi) and made it look quite easy. With this win, the team's spirit has secured a spot in the BLAST Premier World Finals twice now, previously at the IEM Katowice where they defeated Faze in the same manner.

Donk proves himself once again

Donk alone dropped 73 kills across all of this map and secured the event MVP award, showcasing once again the reason Team Spirit isn’t interested in letting the young man go. His performance across all games has been quite consistent compared to any other player.

Making NaVi helpless from the beginning

Spirit started the opening match in their territory, taking NaVi for a spin with a 10-2 scoreline in the first half. NaVi recovered a few rounds after switching sides, with the second-half opening being a ray of hope for NaVi fans. However, with an impressive lead, Team Spirit kept sneaking in rounds in between to secure the match.

The follow-up match saw a similar trend, with NaVi improving their first half a bit. Despite that, Spirit once again had the upper hand with sh1ro dunking on their opponents, while w0nderful did not find that much success with AWP. With a broken economy most of the time, NaVi lost on their own map. If the grand finals were best of three, the game would’ve ended then and there.

However, the third map was the reason why fans loved the best of five games in a high-stakes match. NaVi managed to take vitality 10-2 on their own map and went on to finish the job in the second half, making it look quite easy.

The comeback fired up NaVi fans, who were hoping that the team would secure their map this time and take the game into overtime. The first half was quite intense, but Team Spirit bested NaVi in the second half as they failed one-on-one duels in most cases.
