Team Falcons face back to back loss at CS2 Shanghai Major European RMR A

Following initial success, Team Falcons saw back-to-back upsets at the CS2 Shanghai Major European RMR A. The team lost their second match against Faze Clan after an intense bout that stretched into overtime while the other one was quite a surprising loss against SAW, where the Falcons failed to keep up with their opponents.

Flacons started out a bit slow against but managed to save themselves for a brief period of three rounds leading to overtime. Sadly, they failed to secure even one round in the OT, handing Faze their second victory and dropping into the middle brackets.

The follow-up match pitted them against SAW, which fans were confident the Falcons would secure. However, all they could muster was five rounds against the Portuguese pros. The addition of s1mple doesn’t seem to be doing anything for the team, although getting used to each other will take some time to properly communicate.

One more loss can be a huge setback for Team Falcons

As of now, Team Falcons have 1 victory and two losses out of five matches. The most recent loss will send the team into the Round 4 Low Matches and will need to secure both of their matches in order to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.

On the other hand, s1mple’s original team has secured two out of their three matches and is currently doing well. Fnatic, the first team defeated, has also managed to secure their next two matches and fans now fear a similar result as the previous time s1mple played for Falcons which also did not go that well.

Currently, the top teams on the leaderboard include MOUZ and Team Vitality, who have secured all three of their RMR matches and a sure place for themselves in the upcoming CS2 Major.
