Known for making cases and other accessories for various devices, an image states, “We will not be answering any questions at this time.” The post went viral real quick, with many wondering if the design is real or not, as it was odd that a third-party accessory manufacturer revealed the design for Switch 2 before Nintendo.

Dbrand claims the Switch 2 design to be real

Ironically, despite telling them they will not be answering any questions, the CEO of Dbrand, Adam Ijaz, himself reportedly admitted that this was the actual design for the Nintendo Switch 2 in a statement to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson.

Another follow-up post by Dbrand showcased more images and linked to the product page. Named Killswitch, the translucent case gave everyone a full view of what Nintendo might be announcing soon. Although there is still no information regarding the specifications. The design also matches with some previous leaks, so many believe this might be the real deal.

People across the social media are calling this an incredibly risky move considering Nintendo’s reputation. Although this isn’t the first time Dbrand has had a beef with Nintendo, in fact, the company is already known for some controversial stunts.

However, at the same time, people were also confused on why Nintendo isn’t making any move to take down these images. This begs the question: is this actually the design for Switch 2 or Dbrand’s interpretation of the design based on leaks they got?
