An early listing for upcoming Nvidia RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 gaming PCs was reportedly up for a short duration. While it was taken down quickly, the window was enough to give people an idea of what gamers can expect for the latest generation of pre-built computers, and people will have to pull out some serious cash.
Spotted by Videocardz, the pre-built gaming computers were listed by a German retailer, ‘Otto.de’. The images showcased a fully beefed-up gaming PC featuring the all-new Nvidia RTX 5090 paired with an Intel Core 9 Ultra processor with a price tag of £5,999. If it’s anywhere close, that’s over ₹ 6 lakh in India.

On the other hand, going down a step with the RTX 5080 gaming PC, the price drops to half at £3,499, or over ₹ 3 lakh. This is due to the gaming PC featuring much lower specs in terms of RAM, storage, etc. The 5080 is also using an Intel Core 7 Ultra processor.
At this point, it is currently not possible to tell how much of the GPU is influencing the price for the gaming PC. The RTX 5080 reportedly features half the amount of CUDA cores compared to the RTX 5090. However, there is also a difference in RAM amount, with one featuring 128 GB of DDR5 and the other with 32 GB of DDR5. Then there’s also mention of the PC cost, including tax with the listed price.

Announcement for RTX 50 series card expected in January 2025
The new generation of Nvidia RTX series cards is expected to be revealed early next month by Jensen Huang himself. As for the line-up, it is believed that the first to come will be the enthusiast and high-end cards like the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070.
As for the price, RTX 4090 launched at $1,500, so people are expecting a number around that, maybe a bit higher. Other entry-level and mid-range cards like the RTX 5060 are expected to be revealed sometime in February. Do note that whatever the price might be, gamers in India will also have to deal with the added import charges.
