stc Group becomes elite partner of Esports World Cup

The Esports World Cup is all set to commence next month. Owing to this, Esports World Cup has partnered with Saudi firm stc Group and has been named the tournament's ‘Elite and Founding Partner’. The event is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 3rd July to 25th August, per an official announcement by Faizer Al-Saber, Group Chief Commercial Officer and Ralf Reichert, the acting CEO of Esport World Cup Foundation. 

The three venues that have been decided for the mega tournament are - the stc arena, the stc Play Gaming Hall and stc TV World Cup studios. As per reports, the naming copyright of the game shall solely lie with the stc Group. They are entitled to provide connectivity to the gamers which is constricted to Riyadh. During a press meet, Riechert expresses his gratitude towards getting the stc Group on board. “I am proud to welcome stc Group, a telecommunication giant and digital pioneer, as an Elite Founding member of the Esports World Cup,” he said.

‘We are thrilled…’

Post this advancement in the preparations for the Esport World Cup, it is evident that presently the responsibility lies on stc group to make the tournament available for the rest of the world to watch. Reichert added, “stc Group is the digital backbone of our competitions and will bring the EWC content to local and global audiences. stc will enable fans … to stay connected with the special stc SIM card.”  

On the other hand, Olayan Al-Wetaid, CEO of stc Group said that this collaboration with the tournament is a form of commitment that the company has made towards a better future of gaming and esports in the Kingdom.
