Manager for S8UL Esports, Sid, in his recent stream, shared an incident about the time he was almost assaulted by one of his previous team members. This took place during the time he was managing a Dota 2 team in the Philippines bootcamp. However, he was saved thanks to other team members who stood in his support.

The conversation started after a fan asked him the most aggressive and the most peaceful players he has been with during his time in the esports industry. Responding to the question, Sid talked about the time he found himself in the crosshair of a Dota 2 player after he could not secure a flight home for him during the weekend, which caused the player to get angry.

At the time, the said player was about to assault him, but thankfully, two other players from the team, who Sid reveals were close to him, defended their manager. As the angry lad was about to charge him, one of the players stood up, which prompted the one charging to stop.

Sid explained that the player seemed already mentally unstable

Players getting angry at the management or even coaches is not something new as esports orgs contain people and there can be issues between them for various reasons. There have been many reported incidents, but none resulted in anyone involving physical violence. Thankfully, this wasn't the case here either.

However, the incident Sid explained can still be considered too violent when compared to the cause, which did not sound as serious unless that flight was very urgent. While talking, Sid explained that the person who got angry was already prone to these kinds of outbursts, however, the other two had his back. Even after the matter was urgent, it did not justify almost assaulting the team manager.
