Konami recently dropped a chilling trailer for Silent Hill f, a new entry in the popular horror franchise. Ahead of its release, the Australian government has refused classification, effectively banning the game from launching in the country even before Konami could reveal a launch date.
Silent Hill f is available to wishlist across digital platforms, however, no release date has been revealed. The Australian Classification Board is known for being very strict when it comes to something like this and the game already made headlines after it got an ESRB rating of 18+ in Japan.

While there is no reasoning behind the move, one can get a general idea that the developers already giving everyone a lengthy warning regarding gender discrimination, child abuse, bullying, drug-induced hallucinations, torture, and graphic violence. The ESRB also revealed that the game shows characters getting impaled and faces getting ripped apart.
This is also not the first time a game has been blocked as a previous Silent Hill game ‘Homecoming’ also saw a similar fate and had to change things to get approval. Other games like FEAR, and even Fallout 3 also had to make changes.
