Fortnite is known as every evolving Battle Royale game that adds features with each release. However, it took seven long years to finally add an option to choose the default starting skin for players. This comes as part of the most recent update, breaking the curse of handing random default skins to the players, and people are happy.

The latest chapter introduced a lot of new things, including the return of Fortnite OG, which brought in over a million players as players flocked to relive the best moments from the past. Along with that, the regular season is still in progress.

Fortnite is also known to pick up the best things from other games and implement a part of them inside the game, but this time, the game is even set to bring in a completely different mode. Away from its roots and delving into tactical shooter, Fortnite is also bringing an FPS game mode.

Players react to being able to select default skins

Despite all of these additions, players still could not select the default skin, as the game gave everyone a random skin. That was likely due to the game giving away free skins from various events, which made players forget about the default one.

Not anymore, as those who wish to have a certain default skin can select the one they want. Even players who have been playing Fortnite for some time now and have a collection of skins were excited about this addition, with one saying, “Going to run default Jonesy for a few games just because I can now.”

“Finally I can get an actually good fucking default skin combo,” another one wrote, with others also expressing a similar excitement. Overall, this change was very well received alongside the regular content update, as players now have 14 different default skins to choose from.
