Fortnite reportedly added bots with the return of Fortnite OG, with low skilled players getting as many as 90 bots in their lobbies. This came after a part of the community started complaining about ‘sweats’ or people who are really good at the game and are already dominating casual players.

This has sparked another controversy in the Fortnite community. Players who want the bots removed claim bots to take out all the fun from the game, while others are praising the decision to add bots as they simply want to have fun in the OG season playlist.

While there was no direct official announcement from Epic Games regarding the addition of bots, a recent post on X (Twitter) wrote about matchmaking improvements across all Fortnite OG playlists, which many suspects are the addition of bots and SBMM adjustments.

Fortnite fans demand removal of bots

This decision brought a huge backlash from the Fortnite community, including some of the biggest content creators in the scene. On the other hand, casual players just want to rank up and have a fun time, not going against try hard in OG players, are calling this an incredible decision.

At this point, it feels like regardless of the decision developers make, the backlash from one of the side of the community is inevitable. Currently, both sides are engaging in a heated argument and the comments are hilarious.
