Santa Dogg is now available to claim inside Fortnite for free

Fortnite players now don’t have to wait any longer, as Epic Games has now added the long-awaited Santa Dogg skin for Snoop Dogg in the game. This comes as part of the Winterfest 2024 celebration, and players can claim the skin for free along with other cosmetic items wrapped inside the gift boxes.

There were a lot of other gifts, but Santa Dogg was reportedly being added at a later date. Players who visited the Winterfest Cabin last night found a new gift sitting in the centre. This wasn’t previously available and was only added on December 25, Christmas day. As expected, opening the box rewarded players with the skin.

Those who missed the box or used their daily gift unwrap before the box was added will have to wait for the reset. In order to check when they will be able to open a new gift, simply check the clock on the upper left hand when inside the Fortnite Winterfest cabin, as shown in the image above.

Holiday season brings several Fortnite collabs

December has been one of the busiest months for Fortnite fans. While Santa Dogg skin was a big surprise, there are multiple other additions. Along with regular updates, players are getting some of the most iconic collabs, both new and returning, all at once to choose from.

Master Chief and the OG Renegade Raider did create a controversy on return, but things were settled quickly. There is also a new Star Wars and DC bundle with a samurai theme. A Cyberpunk 2077 collab brought players a second Keanu Reeves skin along with the popular mantis blade pickaxe from the game.

Since it’s Christmas, Fortnite also utilised a popular meme to introduce Mariah Carey with her iconic song. For some reason, Shaq is also there with a new look. All of this happened in just a span of two weeks and was quite remarkable.
