Fortnite fans react to rare OG skin making a return after amidst new collab

The return of Renegade Raider, one of the rarest skins in Fortnite, has got old gamers riled up against Epic for not respecting their time in the early days of the game.

The return of Fortnite OG also brought back OG skins, and fans are having some mixed thoughts about this decision. While those who weren’t able to get it originally are happy, the ones who wanted their rare skins to be prized possessions aren’t huge fans of this decision, leading to an all-out debate on the situation.

Fortnite OG was one of the most successful seasons for Epic Games that prompted the devs to bring it back and fans were once again quite happy. The skin in talk is the Renegade Raider skin that was last available back in 2017. While there were other variants of the skin, the OG one was never available until now, which has got many people upset.

To add fire to the situation, Fortnite also added Skibidi Toilet in their latest collab which was also criticized by many claiming there were much better collabs they could have done. Skibidi Toilet, however, is quite popular among kids, so naturally Epic games likely saw this as a good fit.

Here’s how the fans reacted to Fortnite adding OG skins in-store

The main reason behind the outrage is that people who have been playing Fortnite since the beginning feel like these items should remain exclusive. At the time, it was available either through the store or the battle pass. Since there were not a lot of cosmetics, it was one of the most popular items.

Naturally, being out of circulation made players feel like the skin would be exclusive, but this wasn’t the case. While Epic Games did say original owners will get a new style next year, fans were not having any of it. Check out their reactions below.
