After announcing their commitment to help people affected by the Los Angeles Wildfires, Riot Games has now shared more information on their action. Employees who have lost their homes in the Wildfires are also provided temporary shelter and support from the studio. As for local people, the studio has announced an in-game fundraiser across League of Legends and Valorant.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the ‘Riot Games Social Impact Fund’. These funds will then be used to provide support for organizations aiding in natural disaster recovery in Southern California and globally. This comes as a great way to support people while also getting something in exchange.
Valorant will feature the EX.O Collection as the ‘Give Back Bundle’, and will be available starting next week on January 22. The bundle will remain in the store till January 30th. As for League of Legends, Riot Games is unvaulting the ‘Firefighter Tristana’ skin which will add to the fundraiser starting January 23rd to February 5th.
