Activision has now revealed all the details of the upcoming COD Black Ops 6 Season 1 and one of the fan favorites, Prop Hunt mode, is coming back. Set to release on November 14th, the first season for BO6 is set to bring a lot of awaited changes, but Prop Hunt comes as a cherry on top.
While others usually involve shooting the opponents, Prop Hunt is a fine little game mode where one set of players becomes props while the other hunts them down. It is similar to zombies, where the last surviving player/s wins the round for the team. This game mode of the classic but hasn’t been in COD games for quite some time.
As per the announcement, the mode does not seem like one of the limited events but does have an ‘in-season’ tag meaning it may be available only during the season or will be introduced sometime in the new season.
Another new game mode coming next season is ‘Ransack’ and as the name suggests, one loot crates bring back the cash to the base. Other teams can attack the base for the loot and you can do the same.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 to bring more maps
A big complaint from the COD community was the lack of maps in the current pool. The game launched with a set of original maps which was likely to give players something new, however, Black Ops 6 seems to be struggling from success as players demand more maps in rotation.
The Season 1 update will introduce five new maps including new and remaster along with a variation for Nuketown covered in snow, after all, it will soon be the Christmas season before players know it. Hideout, Heirloom, and Extraction are three brand-new maps coming on day 1 along with the new season.
Hacienda, a remaster for Black Ops 6 and Racket, another brand-new map will be released mid-season to introduce something new to the rotation. The Nuketown Holiday will also be released mid-season.
