Black Ops 6 is now available worldwide and is turning out to be one of the highly successful Call of Duty releases in quite some time. COD campaigns, which were highly criticized in the last few releases, took a turn with Black Ops 6 with a decent story and length. One of the most awaited additions, classic zombies also did not disappoint.

The game is already one of the most played games on Steam, with a 24-hour peak reaching over 250,000 players. Black Ops 6 also released Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass and other platforms, so the initial numbers are likely much higher. Players are already grinding the returning prestige system to unlock various camos.

Not everything is perfect, however, with every COD release. Since the game requires a constant internet connection regardless of single-player or multiplayer. Many players have raised concerns regarding this, especially those who have connection issues or purchased the game at full price. This was likely done as the game is available on Game Pass.

Apart from this, there are some complaints about performance issues and other things. The developers seem to be taking feedback to further improve upon it in the upcoming patches. Currently, they plan on bringing back the classic Nuketown.

Fans praise return of round-based zombies

While the campaign was one of the highlights, the zombie mode also received a lot of love from the community. Previous games were released with open-world zombies which players were not a huge fan of, calling it a lazy move. The new round-based zombies launched with two maps, with more expected to be added in the future.
