The first combat gameplay trailer for Phantom Blade Zero receives a very positive response from fans. Release date for the game to be revealed soon.

The first gameplay trailer for Phantom Blade Zero is here and fans are loving the combat. Showcasing an intense and brutal boss fight, the game is already getting a green light from players who love intense souls-like gameplay. Along with this, the developers also said that they will be revealing the release date for the game soon.

Since 2025 is also the Year of the Snake, the character was also fighting the boss with the twin snake swords. The visuals looked great and the combat looked smooth paired with various combos. Since the showcase was just with a single weapon, fans can expect a lot more things with different weapons and equipment.

Phantom Blade Zero is set in a fantasy world, what’s more interesting is that the game's storyline tells us that the main character ‘Soul’ only has 66 days to live. It’ll be interesting to see if player action in the game will move forward the timer or if it’s simply there for plot purposes.

The game is set to release across PlayStation 5 and Windows, however, there is currently no store page for either the PS5 or PC (Steam, Epic Games, etc.). Initially revealed back in 2023, fans did not get a release window at the time, but with the new gameplay trailer, devs are asking players to stay tuned.
