Palworld is set to introduce a massive update, ‘Feybreak’ on December 23 featuring an all new island, gameplay mechanics, pals, weapons and more. However, fans are more excited about the hardcore game mode devs are adding with the update, giving players another layer of challenge they have been asking for a while.
As per the developer Pocket Pair, the upcoming update will be the largest content Palworld has ever received. The announcement for hardcore mode, however, came as a surprise as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the teaser but was announced with the update countdown.
At the moment, it is currently unknown how different or difficult the hardcore game mode will be. Will players need a completely new start, or they will be able to toggle the difficulty, the devs say all will be revealed with the release. As per the Global Community Manager at Pocketpair “Hardcore mode for the big boys” so fans are accepting a challenge.
However, it is to be noted that the hardcore mode is simply a small aspect coming with the update. The new island is claimed to be six times bigger than the Sakurajima update and will be featuring new dungeons, raid bosses, and a lot more pals to capture.
