Dominating the opponents in the upper brackets, NaVi and G2 Esports have now secured a spot in the ESL CS2 Pro League Season 20 Playoffs. Both teams are yet to compete in the upper bracket final, but both teams from the upper brackets in each group will move towards the players. Securing the match, however, will give them a head start in the Playoffs.
NaVi, in particular, has had a flawless run until now, taking down Lynn Vision Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas without dropping a single match. Facing Eternal Fire in the upper bracket, the team has a great opportunity to end what they started on a high note.
G2 on the other hand did drop a match against 3DMAX, who, let’s not forget, are a capable team who took down The MongolZ during the Skyesports Championship 2024. Despite that, the team managed to reach the upper bracket and will now face MIBR.

Speaking of The MongolZ, the team again faced defeat by 3DMAX and dropped to the lower bracket. While they have been dominating their opponents, the team seem to be once again headed for a rematch.

FaZe Clan remains one step behind
FaZe saw a crushing defeat in their opening match against Sangal Esports, which came as a huge surprise for fans. As usual, the trolls started pouring in, but the team managed to reach the middle bracket final, where they will once again face Sangal Esports.
If FaZe manages to take them down, the team will secure Playoffs, however, a loss will send them to the lower bracket. While fans are confident that the situation will not arise again, anything can happen in CS2. The remaining two groups featuring the remaining fan favourites like Team Liquid, MOUZ and Team Vitality are yet to start their matches.
