Season 20 for ESL Pro League is just a few months away and ahead of that, ESL has revealed all 32 teams that have qualified for the Counter-Strike event set to take place at InterContinental Malta. While a few fan's favourites are missing, there are a lot of underdogs. These teams will be competing for $750,000 and a spot for Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice 2025.

With so many teams competing, matches will be played in four triple-elimination brackets, with each group featuring eight teams. These triple-elimination brackets are quite common and while they do provide teams an additional chance to make it into the playoffs, it does have a catch.

The teams dropping to the middle or lower brackets will start from lower seeds, while the ones making into playoffs from upper brackets will go to quarterfinals and higher seeds. Playoffs will be played in a single-elimination bracket, so it balances out the multiple chances the teams will get in the group stage.

However, before we jump into the Pro League S20, there are also multiple other events including the million-dollar IEM 2024 which will have one team to qualify for IEM Katowice next year alongside the upcoming BLAST Premier World Final set to take place in November this year. A few teams have already seen a roster shake-up, and more will likely follow before the event.
