Former BGMI player for Global Esports, Raghuraj "Slug" Singh recently went viral, similar to Neyo. While not on the same level, the clip was enough to describe the current situation in the esports and BGMI scene. Founder of Global Esports, Rushindra Sinha, also responded, saying it is one of the reasons why they are not in the scene any more.

In a recent livestream, fans talked about the clip of Slug using some foul words and Sinha’s views on the matter. Responding to their query, Sinha said that he saw the video and does not want to talk about this because if he does, a lot of this will come out which might not be good for the player

“There is a reason why we are not in the scene (BGMI Scene), some people need to learn. Unnecessary muh mat khulwaao warna baccho k liye bhaut problem ho jaaega,” he responded. He further clarified that they are not working with them any more and do not want to be a part of this conversation. “They are adults now and everyone knows what’s best for them,” he added.

As per popular BGMI community member letsgrowesports on X, the Global Esports management also said, "This guy (Slug) will be in huge trouble someday". This further implies that the issue is not recent.

Rushindra Sinha talks of average BGMI players salary

Fans further asked Sinha about the kind of payment these BGMI players are getting. This comes after the recent controversy regarding salary where another BGMI pro Owais revealed that new players are getting salaries in lakhs while veteran players who have been playing since the beginning are not even getting half of the same amount.

This was confirmed by Sinha who revealed that the average salary for Tier 1 BGMI roster is 1–2 lakhs. However, he did confess that the amount was unfortunately inflated and should not be this much at the moment. He then joked that even doctors do not earn this much.
