NinjaBoi along with other players for Global Esports recently gave an update thanking the BGMI roster, implying that the org is parting ways with current players. For the time being, it seems that the contract is still up, but fans will likely see some of the best BGMI players in India across new teams for the upcoming tournaments very soon.
In an Instagram status update, NinjaBoi wrote, “It was a great journey guys, all the best for the future”. The players also expressed their gratitude towards each other, giving the idea that players might be joining different teams unless another org picks up the entire roster.
The current roster for Global Esports features, Mavi, NinjaBoi, Slug, Beast and Arclyn who joined the team last year and have secured some notable achievements. The most recent achievement was the second spot in Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024.

However, the last two tournaments, BGMS Season 3 and BMPS 2024 saw a relatively weak performance from them. BGMS saw the team land on the 12th spot, while BMPS saw the team fail to qualify for the semifinals. NinjaBoi recently talked about everything on his stream while also talking about being a free agent, to which Sinha joked saying there is still some time before the contract ends.
Global Esports also looking for a Valorant Roster
While the news regarding the BGMI roster does come as a surprise, it seems that the entire Global Esports is restructuring itself. Following the conclusion of Valorant Champions 2024, the org announced that their Valorant roster is also free to explore other options.
We have allowed our players to be Restricted F/A while we continue our coaching staff search and tryouts

Our players will also be going through our internal tryouts but are allowed to explore options in the meanwhile so we are not limiting their opportunities🫰#GEFighting
It was also revealed that Global Esports is now planning a new project to build an all-Indian Valorant roster. Currently, the team have pros from other nations too, which did not sit well with some fans who believe that an Indian esports org should have all Indian players. Open Tryouts for joining Global Esports in Valorant are currently ‘open’.
