With certain elimination on their head, Leviatán has now managed to defeat Team Vitality in the decider match and secure a spot in the Valorant Champions 2024 Playoffs. The match saw Leviatán clean sweep their opponents to continue their journey at the biggest Valorant tournament.
Leviatán did see some bumps along the road as Vitality gave them a tough time in the opening match. While Leviatán started with a decent lead, Vitality started to turn things around really quickly in the second half. Not only that, Vitality also reached the match point early, but Leviatán managed to take the game into overtime where they saw a clean back-to-back rounds to take the first game.
With how much Leviatán struggled in their map pick, many believed the second game would be a breeze for Vitality, taking the decider into the third match. However, this did not happen as Leviatán dominated Vitality. The team looked different from a match earlier, where they were struggling to keep up.
The team secured 10 rounds in the first half, and while Vitality saw two more rounds in the second half, Leviatán quickly closed the game to move on to the Playoffs. aspas and kiNgg saw a dominating run and had major contribution to the team’s success.
