The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered PC specs revealed; No PSN account is required

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is set to land on PC in early April and Naughty Dog has shared the technical specs people are going to need to run the game properly. Along with that, there are also announcements regarding additional content and the removal of PSN login requirements on PC which Sony previously mentioned.

The game will also feature AMD FSR 4 and 3.1 along with Nvidia DLSS 3, both of which feature frame generation, allowing some older GPUs some extra FPS boost. Apart from that, DirectStorage and Ultrawide Monitor Support will also be present on launch on April 3rd. Fans are simply hoping the game will be optimised and avoid the disastrous launch of their first game.

New content and options PSN login

PC players will also get the No-Return mode along with two new characters from the original game, Bill and Marlene. With new characters, there are also new maps. These are Overlook, School, Streets, and Nest, which will also be added to the PS5 on the same date through an update.

There is also no PSN account requirement, meaning PC players can simply log in and hop into the story. Although, as Sony previously mentioned, they will be removing the requirement, those who choose to connect will get some exclusive rewards.

Players with a linked account will get a new skin for Ellie featuring Jordan A. Mun’s jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, the upcoming game by Naughty Dog, which will be an open-world non-linear game. There are also 50 in-game points to activate bonus features.
