Krafton India Esports launches ‘Rising Star’ program: Check out how to apply

Apart from BGMI tournaments, Krafton India also recently announced the ‘Rising Star’ program. Aimed to bring talented esports athletes and content creators into the spotlight, the registration for the program is now active. Anyone across the country who wants to show off their skill in esports and content creation can apply.

“Our mission goes beyond identifying talent; we aim to nurture a community of passionate players capable of elevating India's esports landscape to global standards. Through grassroots development and unparalleled opportunities, this program aspires to strengthen the foundation of competitive gaming while inspiring a new generation of players and content creators,” said Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at Krafton India.

How to apply for the Rising Star program

The application process for the Rising Star program is also quite simple. To start the process, head toward the official Krafton India Esports website. Players will then find a banner for Rising Star; if not, simply swipe the BGIS 2025 banned to your left.

Click on register now and provide all the necessary information, such as name, age, city, etc. Players will also need to provide information on their in-game BGMI name and ID, along with social media handles for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and others. Additionally, to be considered, the individual also needs to pass the eligibility criteria to be considered for the program.

Here are the eligibility criteria for the Rising Star program

• Follower/Subscriber Count: Have at least 1,000 followers or subscribers on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, or any other streaming platform.
• Content Consistency - Regularly create and share content related to Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), with at least 20% of recent content focused on the game.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
• Code of Conduct Compliance: Adhere to the Rising Star Program’s Code of Conduct, which promotes respectful and appropriate content creation.
• Official Events Participation: Must have participated in at least two official BGMI events.
