After selling a million copies of the game in under 24 hours, Warhorse Studios celebrates 2 million sales for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in less than two weeks. The mediaeval RPG sequel is much larger in scale compared to the previous game and has received some high praise from the audience. The announcement comes through an official post.

As reported by SteamDB, a majority of the players are on PC, more specifically Steam, with estimates reaching 1.5 million to 1.7 million owners on PC. Regardless of what platform people choose to play the game, the game provides an immersive and realistic experience.

The CEO of Embracer Group, the parent company for Warhorse Studios, also revealed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 exceeded their expectations. “The sales are exceeding our expectations and even my slightly higher expectations. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is actually achieving that, so I think it's a 'well done.'. I'm really happy to see it,” he said during the earnings call.

Mod support also coming to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Mods can breathe completely new life into a single-player game and are the reason why games like Terraria, Baldur’s Gate 3, Palworld, and many other games have so many players even after years of release. Baldur’s Gate 3 still managed to reach almost 100k players regularly.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is also aiming to achieve something similar. In an official post a few days ago, Warhorse Studios teased that official mod support for the game is coming soon. More details on that are yet to be revealed.
