Leaks: PS5 release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to be announced soon

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to land on PS5, and the release date announcement is expected on March 24. That’s according to a popular leaker who previously showcased the design behind PS5 Pro ahead of the official reveal. Indiana Jones landing on PS5 will mark another Xbox title landing on the rival (former) platform.

In a recent post on X (Twitter), billbil-kun revealed the box art for the game and two physical editions, Standard and Premium. The announcement for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will also open pre-orders for the game, however, the release is expected to be on April 17 with the Premium edition getting two days early access.

Physical release will still require internet connection

Fans were left a bit disappointed after finding out that despite having a physical edition with a disc, the game will require an internet connection to download the game. This has been a growing trend in the physical gaming space and is one of the biggest reasons contributing to less and less physical sales.

Initially, the game was planned to be an Xbox/PC release, but things have changed a lot. Microsoft has announced a complete shift in its approach towards gaming. The game received a lot of praise for its gameplay and loose adaptation of the franchise and with Xbox games selling like hotcakes on PS5, it was a no-brainer for Microsoft.

PS5 price for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Once again, the game will follow the standard pricing for the standard edition of the game priced at $69.99. The premium edition will set players back $99.99 but also includes ‘The Order of Giants Story’ DLC along with Digital Artbook and Temple of Doom Outfit. If the rumours are true, the announcement for the game should come in the next few hours.
