Indiana Jones and the Great Circle saw a highly successful release, with many praising the gameplay and how well it adapted to the classic movies. Rumours are now surfacing that Disney were also quite happy with the game and apparently want to expand further in the Indiana Jones franchise with a sequel and other games.
The leak comes from Jez Corden, a reputed informer who during his recent podcast broke the news to everyone. “Heard that Disney picked up the phone and wants more Indiana Jones,” he said, further revealing that a sequel for the game is in talks. Furthermore, this also opens up options for other projects in the franchise.
Developed by MachineGames, who are known for the Wolfenstein series, Corden also revealed that the sequel to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could come alongside Wolfenstein 3 which is also reportedly in development. Fans are now excited about what new adventure the sequel will take place, as the events of the game took place between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.

Fans loved the new Indiana Jones game
The success for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was due to various contributing factors, being accessible for many players, with Day 1 Xbox Game Pass release being high on the list. Furthermore, the narrative based first person gameplay recreation moments from the move allowed players to have a completely different experience, one that MachineGames is already known for and hasn’t been in the market for a while.
Although not official just yet, it will not surprise to see Disney give a green light to a highly successful release. A month ago, a sequel for Hogwarts Legacy was also confirmed by Warner Bros. thanks to the success of the original game. Perhaps more games based on other popular franchise may make an appearance in coming years.
