Fans tired of waiting for second GTA 6 trailer (Image - Rockstar)
Ever since the first trailer for GTA 6 debuted, the entire fan base has been waiting for Rockstar Games to reveal more. Months after months, people were making speculations regarding the release for trailer 2 which never came. Now with 2024 almost coming to a close, many are losing hope for the second trailer this year.
A recent post made on Reddit have a frustrated fan called quits waiting on Rockstar for a new trailer. As of now, it has been over a year since fans got the first look at GTA 6 and after that, everyone’s been shooting arrows in the dark with various speculations.
This frustration is also understandable as previously, one of the Rockstar employees revealed that some of the speculations do make them laugh. However, this was received positively by the community that at least they are having a good time.
Another reason why the second trailer hasn’t been revealed just yet might be the automatic hype it's creating, as revealed by a former Rockstar employee. GTA 6 is a big name and the most anticipated game. Instead of releasing more details, the developers can simply create a massive amount of hype and marketing from the community itself without spending money.

A Christmas miracle if GTA 6 Trailer 2 drops
“Hope we'd all be less schizophrenic about GTA 6 for New Year's resolutions. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone before the trailer drops or doesn't. It'd be a miracle if it dropped,” the post wrote, expressing that they aren’t expecting the trailer but still have a little hope.

A few others also expressed a similar feeling, saying, “I'm also wrapping up my hopes for a 2025 release. But I'd love to be proven wrong”. However, this did not stop the believers who made another theory regarding the release date, claiming the first trailer for GTA 6 was released 442 days after the leaks and the second trailer will also be the same which brings the date to February 18. However, the trailer is still coming out next year to this theory.
