GTA 5 Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode

GTA 5 players recently got the long-awaited Zombies mode as a new job in GTA Online. Named North Yankton Nightmare Challenge, the event came as one of the most popular jobs in GTA Online after quite a while. The popularity of the event pushed Rockstar to set a new milestone, which players have now also completed.

Initially, Rockstar added a 200 million Zombie slaying challenge, which was completed in just over a day. Increasing the numbers to 800 million, the developers added new rewards. Thanks to the popularity of the mode and player dedication, the new milestone is now also complete.

GTA players receive milestone rewards as promised

In an official post, Rockstar Games congratulated all players, while also informing them of the delivery of the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and the Red Hooded Skull Mask as a reward. Rockstar further revealed that the Purple Glow and Green Glow Skeleton Onesies will arrive next week.

This isn’t surprising considering the amount of players the North Yankton Nightmare Challenge amassed. As of now, the peak unique player count for the event reached over 1.7 million. The Slashers event is also back as the latest update to GTA Online, and players can farm double rewards for the entire week.

Of course, considering this will be the last Halloween players will spend in GTA 5, many were not going to miss the event. There is still time before the release of GTA 6 and a new online adventure, however, before that, players have a lot of memories to make with what they currently have.
