There isn’t much doubt that GTA 6 is going to be huge, but some people still aren’t 100% sure. Reassuring fans, the voice actor behind GTA 5’s Michael De Santa ‘Ned Luke’ once again told everyone the game will be ‘worth the wait’. This is something Ned has talked about in the past and last year, Take-Two’s CEO also stated something similar.

During an interview with Fall Damage, Ned expressed his confidence in Rockstar Games. “You never know what Rockstar is going to do. What I tell people is, be patient. It's going to be worth the wait. From what I've seen, it's going to be amazing,” he said.
“They're going to blow our numbers away,” he added. referring to the total earnings of GTA which was over $800 million for GTA 5. As per Ned, the number will cross $1 billion. Although a lot of factors are at work here, including the launch price of GTA 6.
GTA 6 to rake in some big cash even before release
Analysts have predicted that pre-orders for GTA 6 alone are likely to cross the $1 billion mark which will effectively make Ned’s prediction of the game-breaking GTA 5’s record true. GTA 5 currently sits at the second spot globally with over 200 million units sold. GTA 6 is likely to surpass that over time and even rival the current top game ‘Minecraft’.
Despite reports that the game might be $100 on launch, fans are more worried about a delay in release. Some industry veterans believe the GTA 6 launch will be delayed to early 2026, although Rockstar reassures that as of now, there is no delay.
Touching on another topic, Ned Luke was also asked about the return of his character in the game. While there are hints that Michael is alive there hasn’t been an appearance. Ned also teased everyone saying Rockstar won’t tell anything and they can’t, hinting that the cast does know what happens.
