GodLike Esports struggles to keep up at BGIS Semifinals Week 2 Day 1

The final race for the BGIS 2024 grand finals is on and the first day of the four-day-long struggle seems to be dominated by new teams while veterans like GodLike Esports, Reckoning Esports and MOGO Esports have to bring in the heat.

Day 1 saw some interesting stats, as the top three teams on the scoreboard did not have a single chicken dinner. While most of the teams were in the proximity of each other Entity, Galaxy Esports and Inferno Squad soared ahead of everyone with an insane amount of finisher points. Other teams in the top eight for Day 1 also mostly included new names who impressed many with their performance.

8bit, who previously missed on the top eight at Semifinals Week 1 due to a bad opening day, have now secured a decent chunk of points early on and will hope to keep up the pace. Mogo Esports, who finished in 9th spot, had a slow start.

On the other hand, GodLike Esports saw a massive downgrade in their performance as the team struggled across gunfights. While the early bird advantage is now gone, the team still have three more days to put themselves back on track to secure a spot in the top eight.
