Team Tamilas misses the mark as GodLike Esports secures BGMI Champions Gala S1

GodLike Esports have now been crowned the Champions of RA Esports BGMI Champions Gala Season 1 and have secured Rs 2 lakh in the prize pool. Team Tamilas on the other hand secured the second spot and were a mere six points behind GodLike on the leaderboard.

Amidst the ongoing BGIS, the Champions Gala provided some intense entertainment with top teams going against each other. The final day saw multiple teams wake up, but it wasn’t enough for many to improve their standing on the final day. GodLike Esports remained the only team with a consistent performance across all three days, which helped them win the championship.

A single day might have cost Team Tamils the Championship

Team Tamilas saw consistent performance across the first and final day. The team did pretty well on the second day, however, they missed the mark on the second considering GodLike secured 76 points leaving the team in the second spot.

While Team SouL managed to stay in the top three, their performance apart from the first day was not what fans were expecting. Due to this, the team had to make do with the third spot. As for TeamXSpark, after a disappointing first two days, the team managed to pick up their game with a 61-point finish on the final day. However, the push wasn’t enough to land in the top six spots.

Carnival Gaming and Reckoning Esports also saw some decent performance but were pushed down a rank by Team Tamilas in the final day at the 4th and 5th spot.

GodLike Esports also managed to secure the fan favourite team award, with GodL Jonathan being the fan favourite player. The MVP, however, was secured by SouL Spower for managing 39 finishes across the grand finals.
