As soon as the Quarterfinals for the BGIS 2025 championship series concluded, teams are back in action in the Wild Card matches. These matches are the last chance for teams to make their way into the Semifinals and the competition is tough. Day 2 recently saw GodLike Esports take the lead to continue their fight at the tournament.
It’s easy to imagine how tough the competition is when popular teams like GodLike Esports, Cincinnati Kids, Reckoning Esports, and others are dropping down to their last lifeline for a chance to qualify for the semis. Of course, other factors can also affect a team’s performance during a match like the loot quality, zone advantage, etc. apart from high competition.

Things are getting heated at the BGIS Wild Card
GodLike Esports started strong and swooped the first chicken dinner of the day. While the team did not manage to secure another one, their performance remains mostly consistent leading them to the top of the leaderboard for a better chance to qualify for the BGIS Semifinals.
There are other popular names like Gods Reign and Vasista Esports which are a bit lower on the leaderboard. The first day for these teams has been a bit of a struggle but there’s still a chance to recover. With two more match days remaining, all groups will be reshuffled to give everyone an equal chance to shine.
