Team Soul and Godlike Esports are one of the biggest esports organizations in India. While each org has teams across multiple games, they are primarily known for PUBG Mobile or BGMI. This was thanks to some talented players early on who dominated the esports scene in India and amassed a large number of fans who also back the organization they associate with.

As one can expect, being on top will attract a lot of attention and it’s no secret that Soul and Godlike are huge rivals, at least in the eyes of all fans who want to see their favourite team be on top. It’s hard to measure which one of them is the best so let’s compare a few aspects of each esports org to help players decide which one is best and what separates them from others.

BGMI trophies

Team Soul and Godlike Esports boast a large list of achievements through their journey. Both teams started during the PUBG Mobile days and have competed across international events. However, at the time, Team Soul was the stronger team and even represented India across various international events.

Godlike Esports picked up pace a bit later on but quickly managed to climb the ladder. While Soul already featured popular names like Mortal, Ronak, and Owais since the beginning, Godlike picked up its superstar roster with Jonathan back in 2021.

With Jonathan, Godlike picked up pace and went on to secure teams like LOCO War of Glory, Skyesports Championship 3.0, and others. At the same time, Team Soul also bagged some notable events like the first event BGMI Pro Series which boosted their reputation a lot, and most recently, BGMI Masters Series Season 3.

Fast forward to the current days, while Team Soul boasts a better trophy collection in BGMI and even secured the best Esports Organization award, Godlike currently stands a bit higher in ranking as per Krafton. The official leaderboard of 2024 puts Godlike in the 7th spot while Team Soul is at number 9.

Team Soul vs Godlike Bootcamp

To have the best BGMI team, esports organizations also need to create an environment where players can get to synergize with each other. Bootcamps are where teams live, practice, and get to know the strengths and weaknesses of each other in the team.

Soul and Godlike each have their private Bootcamp which they unveiled a few years back. As one would expect, these are some of the best in class providing all facilities to players. In terms of size, both Bootcamps look similar areawise, however, if it comes down to looks and vibes, Team Soul takes the edge in terms of design and overall aesthetics.
