Genshin Impact 5.4 banner leaks reveal a new character from Inazuma

With version 5.3 just around the corner, Genshin Impact leaks for 5.4 are already creating hype among players. New information reveals that players will be getting a new character from Inazuma, home of the Electro Archon. The information is quite interesting, as the story for the region has concluded, suggesting a different quest.

Genshin Impact entered the Natlan arc with version 5.0, and the upcoming update will introduce a spree of new characters. However, various leaks revealed that the game will be celebrating the Lantern Rite event with version 5.4 and a new 5-star unit from Inazuma, as per a well-known leaker, hxg_diluc.

As per the leaks, the new character is called Kimitsuki Ayano, which is translated from Chinese. While there isn’t much information regarding Ayano, marketing for Genshin Impact 5.4 banners is expected to start following the upcoming update.

The next update is set to bring Pyro Archon, and along with her, players will also get a rerun banner for Arlecchino and Clorinde. It is quite surprising to see these characters getting a re-run so quickly since their release, while many characters in Genshin Impact have crossed over a year since their first appearance.

Wriothesley rerun finally happening in Genshin Impact version 5.4?

A big complaint from fans was regarding Wriothesley, who was only available once during his release on version 4.1. Introduced as the first cryocatalyst DPS, the last rerun for Wriothesley was back in November 2023. As per leaks, he will be the first re-run for the version 5.4 banner.

The lack of re-runs for many characters inside Genshin Impact is also due to a large roster of characters over the years inside the game. To fix this situation, the game introduced another region-specific banner; however, this is a fairly new addition and will be held for Liyue characters in the 5.3 update.
