Cartoon Network has made a weird decision to delist a bunch of their games from various online stores, including Steam and Xbox Store. Gamers were quite confused by this move, as the delisting came without any announcement or prior notice. Starting with four games, the number is now up to six, leaving only two games on the Cartoon Network Steam page.

First reported by Wario64 on X (Twitter), the first delisted games included OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Steven Universe: Save the Light and Steven Universe: Unleash the Light. The follow-up included two more games from the Adventure Time series. These were Finn and Jake's Epic Quest, along with Magic Man's Head Games.

At the moment, it is currently unknown if Warner Bros. plans on bringing back these games as a bundle or adding them to their app at any point. Previously, the company was delisting older movies from streaming platforms to cut costs, and reports of video games being next in line were floating.

A spike in price of delisted games

As soon as the games were delisted from online stores, third-party sellers increased the price of game keys, which can be used to add the games to libraries despite being delisted. Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, which usually costs around Rs 900 in India, is now being sold for more than Rs 8,000.

Other games also suffer the same fate or are currently sold out. Many of the games on the list were not even that old. However, the company is reportedly scaling back its gaming operations. While Hogwarts Legacy was quite successful, the 2024 releases weren’t as well received.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League was one of the worst launches and the game was abandoned real quick. Harry Potter Quidditch Champions also did not do much better, as things for repetitive real quick with nothing much to do.
