After a nine-match loss streak against NaVi in CS2, G2 Esports finally broke the course to secure the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024. This comes as perfect revenge for the team after losing to the same team earlier in the tournament, as G2 displayed utter dominance during the grand finals, with NaVi barely managing to secure a single map.
A decisive best-of-five almost resulted in a clean sweep for NaVi. Fans were left shocked as G2 defeated NaVi on their map in Ancient. Following an intense first half, tides turned in favour of G2, with m0NESY wiping the floor with his opponents.
Match 2 also wasn’t great for NaVi after other players from the opposing teams started picking up, with Hunter dropping an ace. Niko and m0NESY, however, once again remained the top fragger in the server, leading their team to the second victory.
One more win and G2 was ready to lift the trophy, however, NaVi wasn’t ready to let go. Their opponents started with a 9-3 lead in the first half, but NaVi somehow managed to defend and equalise the score and went on to secure their first win.

m0NESY crowded tournament MVP
Their celebration however was short-lived as G2 once again handed NaVi a swift defeat. m0NESY was named the tournament MVP thanks to 77 kills to his name and multiple clutches in the grand finals. That isn’t to say NaVi did not have their moments, but it was G2’s night.
By securing the Fall Finals, G2 has also made their way into the World Final 2024 and will once again face some similar faces. Multiple teams including FaZe, Team Vitality and Team Spirit will have a chance to get even with the one sending them home.
