Remember when S1mple said he’ll be back, latest announcement from NaVi reveals that the CS2 goat is making a return in the competitive scene. However, the return is once again with the Saudi organization Team Falcons on loan for three months. He will be taking over the role of team AWPer replacing SunPayus in the process.

Announcing his return on X, S1mple wrote, “Time to be back at LAN, that was my goal from the very beginning - to play the Shanghai Major! I’m very glad that we will have official games before we fix the mistakes and play the main tournament of this year! Thank you for the opportunity, both Team Falcons and Natus Vincere”.

Team Falcons feature some of the greatest CSGO players across the globe, but ever since they came together in Team Falcons, the performance hasn’t been up to their reputations. The team is yet to bring home a major trophy in CS2.

His previous return was also with Team Falcons, where he played as a substitute during the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 back in March. The loan duration at the time was only a month and sadly, the player was not able to bring his best performance at the event.

S1mple gets another chance at a comeback

With S1mple having another go at competitive CS2, all eyes will likely be on his performance. The player has been inactive for almost a year and fans are wondering if one of the best players in CSGO history is still able to keep up with all the changes that came with CS2.

He will also be competing at the Perfect World Shanghai Major European RMRs set to take place in November. Alongside Team Falcons, S1mple will be coming face to face with current behemoths of the scene including Team Vitality, G2 Esports and his own team, NaVi. Fans are already excite for their match-ups.
