Marvel Rivals Season 1 brings a surprise announcement for the community with the addition of 'Fantastic 4'. In an official post, the developers revealed that the latest season will bring not one but all four characters from Fantastic 4. Gameplay for the new heroes will come with the Season 1 trailer releasing on January 6, 8:00 AM PST.
Featuring Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing, Marvel Rivals community is eating good in the next update. Players also won’t have to wait much longer, as the Season 1 is set to kick off on January 10, 2025.
Adding all four characters from the series also give players a lot of options to explore. Adding multiple characters will also avoid backlash from people who play single roles. Furthermore, the players will be also be encouraged to try out a different character, even if it’s for a short term.

Fantastic 4 character roles in Marvel Rivals
Mister Fantastic and Human Torch will be added as Duelist (main damage dealers). Invisible Woman take on the role of a Strategist (Team Healer/Support) due to her ability to generate a force field and go invisible. As for the thing, Vanguard (Tank) is the only right answer. A bunch of leaks also revealed new cosmetics for Doctor Strange, Magik, and presumably more which are yet to be revealed.
Along with new characters and cosmetics, there’s also new maps and additional game modes coming to Marvel Rivals. Here are the rumoured addition
